The Training and Placement Department of SIOP established in the year 2005, with the aim to cater to the needs of Training and Placement of students undertaking pharmacy education in SIOP. The purpose of the Training and Placement is to guide students to choose right career and to give knowledge, skill and aptitude and meet the manpower requirements of the Industry. The Placement Cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for Under Graduates and Post Graduates passing out from the college by keeping in touch with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The Placement Cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates.
The well-known and reputed pharma industries viz; Leben Laboratories Akola. Ltd have shown their confidence in our students. The various activities like Expert lectures, Preliminary screening test, Group discussion, T and P session and Campus interview will regular conduct under Training and placement every year.

  To educate students from diverse backgrounds in the fundamental skills, knowledge through a curriculum designed by the MSBTE, MUMBAI and to prepare them for pharmacy professional positions in service organizations, pharmaceutical industries, other healthcare fields and also to promote a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship.
• To assist students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests.
• Maintaining and regularly updating database of students. Maintaining database of companies and establishing strategic links for campus recruitments.
• Gathering information about job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements.
• Coordinating with companies to learn about their requirements and recruitment procedures.
• Identifying the needs and expectations of the companies to assist them in recruiting most suitable candidates.
• Organizing pre-placement training/workshops/seminarsfor students.
• Collecting feedback from employers where our students are selected.
• To assist students for industrial training during Second year of their D.Pharma course.
• To act as a link between students, alumni and the employment community.
• To assist students in obtaining placement in reputed companies.
• To bring about MOU’S and Agreements with various industrial and research organizations to promote various forms of interactions.
